School Director

The School Director of the Baden-Baden School of Languages was born the son of German parents in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He spent much of his childhood there before returning to Germany where he attained his Abitur. He went on to study maths and computer programming at Karlsruhe University. In 1979 he established the Baden-Baden School of Languages together with his English wife, Jean Aichele, a qualified English teacher. It was their aim to provide quality courses taught by native speakers. In the meantime, they have a team of around 30 teachers from all over the world. The high standard of education provided by the school was rewarded with the ISO quality certificate in 2011. Mr Aichele, himself the father of three grown-up children says, “My basic philosophy has not changed over the years. A school must provide a positive learning atmosphere where students can grow and develop.”
